The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, one of Bosterix FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bosterix FC. Bosterix FC's Clodoveo Goi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nestor Mikelats, made in the 8th minute of the game. Namık Kemal Tosun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Francisco Elazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Checa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Osvaldo Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Canibal PR's Francisco Elazar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ariel Beti fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bosterix FC's protests and gave Ariel Beti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bosterix FC's Ariel Beti got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Canibal PR booed when Bosterix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Goi in the 32nd minute of play forced Canibal PR's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Tosun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Checa having to interfere. In the 40th minute Gaspar Pierres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 40 minutes, Segundo Acosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canibal PR and the Bosterix FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bosterix FC's Leandro Abadia was substituted for Gaspar Pierres. Namık Kemal Tosun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Salbatore in the 43rd minute of the match. Francisco Elazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conrado Checa could save by the left post. After 46 minutes of play, Canibal PR's Francisco Elazar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Checa was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Peruanton to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Canibal PR booed when Bosterix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Elazar in the 59th minute of play forced Bosterix FC's goalkeeper Conrado Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Namık Kemal Tosun was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Clodoveo Goi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clodoveo Goi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 82 minutes into the game, Anacleto Ixaka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bosterix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canibal PR the free kick. A collision led to Bosterix FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anacleto Ixaka hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Segundo Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Checa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. A sloppy throw-in by Nestor Mikelats in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bosterix FC's Gustavo Mambru. After 93 minutes, Francisco Elazar made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bosterix FC's Conrado Checa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bosterix FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
