Eliseo Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Furman in the 3rd minute of play. Rigoberto Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Valle 's Alfonso Etxatxu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Manex was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregorio Ortle took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Benino. Rigoberto Benino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Eliseo Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Augusto Frascuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaypón FC and the Valle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florentino Bide scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Manex, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Evaristo Dominguez could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Rigoberto Benino however easily saved by the left post. After 34 minutes, Agustin Furman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle and the Gaypón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaristo Dominguez's late challenge caught a Valle 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Evaristo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Gaypón FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Dominguez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Ortle got free with Rigoberto Benino in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Gaypón FC defense, Ciriaco Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Manex. The Gaypón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Manex should have stopped the shot. After the first half Valle were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Caitano made the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Ortle in the 59th minute of play. Valle 's Rigoberto Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Ortle in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Benino. Valle 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Valle 's Rigoberto Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Claude in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valle 's Rodrigo Roano got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Narciso Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaypón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Benino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Ortle went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Augusto Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Valle echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gaypón FC had held the ball for most of the match.
