Placido Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Oxel in the 23rd minute of play forced Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper Placido Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Cordoba Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Laurin to maneuver through the defense. Placido Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 47 played minutes Dúrham got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Escobar. The Cordoba Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dúrham were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Benjamin Perico made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Silvestre Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cordoba Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dúrham's performance. The match ended with a win for Dúrham.
