The referee ignored SAN MARTIN DE METAN's protests and gave Eusebio Jurdan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Eusebio Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If J.C. J.J. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Laurin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Dante Nalo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Placido Rudolfo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Nalo in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Cordoba Utd got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Giraldo. After 30 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN DE METAN's Dante Nalo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Rudolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.C. J.J. in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper Placido Rudolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Nalo. 37 minutes into the game, J.C. J.J. recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Placido Rudolfo. J.C. J.J. showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Placido Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.C. J.J., who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Sixto Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Cordoba Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Nalo came free, but Placido Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Cordoba Utd's Sixto Laurin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Placido Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Nalo in the 63rd minute of the match. Delmar Estavan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Sixto Laurin sent off a good shot on target. Eusebio Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Placido Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MARTIN DE METAN. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Bilintx in the 68th minute of play forced Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper Placido Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Jurdan in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Florencio Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cordoba Utd defense, Dante Nalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Rudolfo. The Cordoba Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Rudolfo should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Cordoba Utd's goal looked a bit too open when J.C. J.J. came free, but Placido Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
