Caspian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Ferrocarril Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Gerber. Hernan Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Fabian Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Enrique Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Raymon's late challenge caught a Caspian FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Raymon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Omar Raymon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 35th minute of play forced Ferrocarril Oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maşallah Abdulkärimov kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Maximo Ferrer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernan Ladio skillfully saved the ball. Ferrocarril Oeste's Hernan Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Mazuste in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Indyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Jobo came free, but Hernan Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Renatinho Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferrocarril Oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caspian FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ferrocarril Oeste's Renatinho Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rigoberto Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Raymon kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hernan Ladio was a little too slow when Erubiel Jobo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 78th minute, Caspian FC's Fabian Jobo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hernan Ladio. Hernan Ladio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Hernan Ladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maşallah Abdulkärimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Erubiel Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caspian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caspian FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
