LA RIBERA's David Gaitan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Gaitan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Anier Totakoxe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Henry. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Totakoxe got free with Vicente Henry in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Anier Totakoxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Henry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 72nd minute, Sarmiento's Patricio Tipi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Henry. Vicente Henry yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Sarmiento made a substitution. Feliciano Fidele replaced Eustaquio Presebal. 80 minutes into the game, Ovidio Bermund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Vicente Henry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Henry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Bermund got free with Vicente Henry in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Angel Hermon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sarmiento's German Lucila quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dalmacio Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Sarmiento could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA RIBERA throughout the match.
