Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Guerrero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anier Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edison Smoothy having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Carlos Alberto Hulk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Orlando Pirates's goalkeeper Edison Smoothy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Totakoxe. 17 minutes into the game, Mattia Scarpone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orlando Pirates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento the free kick. Mattia Scarpone kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Juan Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Totakoxe got free with Edison Smoothy in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Hulk to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. Edison Smoothy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolaus Türk in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Orlando Pirates getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hermengildo Oskitz hit a great ball. Ernesto Servando charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Servando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Orlando Pirates got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Servando. Edison Smoothy made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Anier Totakoxe sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Anier Totakoxe made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Anier Totakoxe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Orlando Pirates's Edison Smoothy. Edison Smoothy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Orlando Pirates's Carlos Alberto Hulk got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Nikolaus Türk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edison Smoothy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sarmiento's Ovidio Bermund was substituted for Anier Totakoxe. After 68 played minutes Orlando Pirates got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Oskitz. Edison Smoothy came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento's Ovidio Bermund. But to his dismay, Ovidio Bermund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Edgardo Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Cristofor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edison Smoothy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Juan Guerrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Eron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Virgilio Benvido made a huge save. Juan Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Benvido having to interfere.
