With a left leg Gilberto Gelmiro saved Racing Galaxy from getting behind. UltraMillonarios's Rey Maradona managed to work through Racing Galaxy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rey Maradona dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Maradona in the 8th minute of play forced Racing Galaxy's goalkeeper Gilberto Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Rey Maradona made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Gelmiro. Racing Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rey Maradona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Galaxy's Gilberto Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Cordaryal in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luciano Luix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Gelmiro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Rey Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, UltraMillonarios's goalkeeper Mario Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Chuse. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Luix in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Vicente Chuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Racing Galaxy's Man Nejmann in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UltraMillonarios's goalie prevented a goal. If Rey Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, UltraMillonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Marinho to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Luix to make the kick off. Ubaldo Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicente Chuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Txindoki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Chuse ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th match minute, UltraMillonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. UltraMillonarios's Mario Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Chuse in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Racing Galaxy's goalkeeper Gilberto Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rey Maradona. UltraMillonarios's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Codrin Achifoaiei in the 68th minute. Codrin Achifoaiei made a great header on UltraMillonarios's corner, it was just that Racing Galaxy's Gilberto Gelmiro managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Racing Galaxy's Gilberto Gelmiro got control of the ball when Luciano Luix tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Gilberto Gelmiro managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when UltraMillonarios's Luciano Luix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of UltraMillonarios booed when Racing Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Luciano Luix sped through Racing Galaxy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto Gelmiro. Vicente Chuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mario Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Man Nejmann in the 89th minute of play. When Racing Galaxy's Man Nejmann in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UltraMillonarios's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Man Nejmann in the 94th managed to get into a good position. The Racing Galaxy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UltraMillonarios's performance. The match ended with a win for UltraMillonarios.
