Codrin Achifoaiei was slow to take the kick. During this time UltraMillonarios's players had a chance to rest. When Codrin Achifoaiei came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the UltraMillonarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Achifoaiei couldn't finish the play. Mario Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Galsino, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Aquilino Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UltraMillonarios's protests and gave Aquilino Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TOLENGO booed when UltraMillonarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Maria's late challenge caught a UltraMillonarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Maria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TOLENGO's Dario Maria got a free kick in the 35th minute. Godfredo Regis took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Txindoki. Mario Txindoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, TOLENGO's goalkeeper 严然骋 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Luix. UltraMillonarios's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
