The coaching staff of EL CARTERO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Generoso Quin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EL CARTERO! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Quilmes Atletico Club. Leon Raymundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pes Horna. 2-0. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL CARTERO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Toribio in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Dei saved Quilmes Atletico Club from getting behind. Carlos Haimar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pes Horna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
