Alvaro Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mebarek El-Hadi in the 12th minute of the match. Platense's Alvaro Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 13th minute of play. Alvaro Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Geofredo in the 14th minute of the match. Mebarek El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Florencio Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Geofredo couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Platense's goalkeeper Alvaro Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Feliu in the 25th minute of play forced Platense's goalkeeper Alvaro Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Platense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Quiroga took the corner. At last the ball reached Mebarek El-Hadi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Platense. 0-2. Alvaro Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mebarek El-Hadi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platense's Alvaro Berenguer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Berenguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mebarek El-Hadi's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Alvaro Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marco Pirro hit a great ball. Danilo Pasqual's late challenge caught a Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Pasqual helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Platense booed when PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Haitz's late challenge caught a Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Haitz helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the game, one of PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Braulio Maties went to the wrong direction when Jose Reynardo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mebarek El-Hadi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alvaro Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Marco Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Berenguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 59 in the game by Mebarek El-Hadi from a close distance when the talented Alvaro Berenguer managed to make a qualified save. Platense's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Alvaro Berenguer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Platense's Alvaro Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 86th minute of play. Alvaro Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mebarek El-Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mebarek El-Hadi in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Berenguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mebarek El-Hadi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Berenguer saved Platense from getting behind. Florencio Geofredo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Berenguer. Alvaro Berenguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Albino Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO played a much better game than Platense and deserved their victory. The Platense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
