Michel Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Ba in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Andy Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliano Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jaroslaw Dres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Er Ba in the 36th minute of play forced Yaretayo's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, C. A. Flancito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Flancito's Jaroslaw Dres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Flancito from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Er Ba made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Aureliano Opilano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaroslaw Dres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. C. A. Flancito made a substitution. Nereo Michael replaced Er Ba. Michel Duset made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Paulino Raymon sent off a good shot on target. Michel Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Rene Bertran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Duset. Natalio Panfilo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Natalio Panfilo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michel Duset quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Raymon got free with Michel Duset in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Michael kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Duset. That made the score 2-2 in the 89 minute of play.
