The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petr Šilhavý in the 6th minute of play forced Larfinur AFC's goalkeeper Thijs Heitinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Tomasz Budacz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Eustaquio Laurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larfinur AFC and the Profanos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Budacz in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Epifanio Bernaldo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damaso Gudesteo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th minute Petr Šilhavý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Heitinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thijs Heitinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Šilhavý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Andersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Larfinur AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Larfinur AFC's Epifanio Bernaldo to a score. 1-0 in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Kajdasz in the 27th minute of play forced Larfinur AFC's goalkeeper Thijs Heitinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Laurentzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thijs Heitinga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thijs Heitinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Budacz in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Epifanio Bernaldo could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Damaso Gudesteo however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Larfinur AFC's Rolando Fidencio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Aquiles Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Profanos F.C.'s Adam Kajdasz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thijs Heitinga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Profanos F.C. reached it. Thijs Heitinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Šilhavý in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Tomasz Budacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Heitinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thijs Heitinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petr Šilhavý in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Larfinur AFC's Epifanio Bernaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damaso Gudesteo. Damaso Gudesteo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Larfinur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Šilhavý came free, but Thijs Heitinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomasz Budacz to make the kick off. Profanos F.C.'s Damaso Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Tohias in the 53rd minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tomasz Budacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Heitinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomasz Budacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd match minute, Larfinur AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, Larfinur AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. Tomasz Budacz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Thijs Heitinga 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of Profanos F.C. booed when Larfinur AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thijs Heitinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Larfinur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Olo came free, but Thijs Heitinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Thijs Heitinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Budacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Andersson in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Adam Kajdasz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Profanos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Kajdasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thijs Heitinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Tomasz Budacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Profanos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Profanos F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Profanos F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
