Enrique Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Boldici having to interfere. Gabriel Boldici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Izel in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Pena during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Puenteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pena. Puenteros FC's Gabriel Boldici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Puenteros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Zeledon Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Boldici made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Enrique Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, La Scaloneta's Gabriel Boldici threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Rozarius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute of the match La Scaloneta got a corner. Puenteros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Rozarius ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Rozarius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Boldici quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Gabriel Boldici managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Bemabe in the 35th minute of play. When Enrique Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Rozarius couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Puenteros FC booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Izel was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Desiderio Bemabe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puenteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Bemabe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Boldici having to interfere. Gabriel Boldici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Izel scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Boldici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Boldici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Puenteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Rozarius came free, but Gabriel Boldici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puenteros FC's Gabriel Boldici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gilberto Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Puenteros FC's Omar Opilano was substituted for Benedicto Semeno. 80 minutes into the match, Puenteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Rozarius came free, but Gabriel Boldici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match La Scaloneta got a corner. Puenteros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Rozarius ran over to the corner to take the kick. 84 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Boldici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gilberto Izel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Boldici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puenteros FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Scaloneta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Puenteros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
