Zeledon Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jonathan Socorro struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gabriel Boldici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Del Rojo FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Martino during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Puenteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Martino. After having played for 12 minutes, Jonathan Socorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Del Rojo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Socorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Boldici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Sugoi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Del Rojo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Bartocha in the 18th minute. The corner led Del Rojo FC's Jânio Diniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Boldici despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Del Rojo FC's Vicente Sugoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Boldici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 minutes, Manuel Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puenteros FC and the Del Rojo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puenteros FC's Manuel Pena got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Puenteros FC defense, Jonathan Socorro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Boldici. The Puenteros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Boldici should have stopped the shot. Leon Ostadar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jonathan Socorro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Vicente Sugoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Boldici. Puenteros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Sugoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Bartocha notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Puenteros FC's Gabriel Boldici. Gabriel Boldici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Puenteros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Del Rojo FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Socorro made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Jonathan Socorro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gabriel Boldici, 0-5. Gabriel Boldici made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Vicente Sugoi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Puenteros FC booed when Del Rojo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Del Rojo FC's zone, Epifanio Ulizes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Ruisko came out of the goal and Epifanio Ulizes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, Puenteros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Martino to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Del Rojo FC's Jonathan Socorro got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Puenteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Socorro came free, but Gabriel Boldici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Sugoi got free with Gabriel Boldici in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Boldici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Del Rojo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
