In the 23rd minute Club Atlethico Talleres were awarded a corner. Arnoldo Orgaz went to the cornerflag to take it. Sixto Odon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ranko Kvarantan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generoso Gaxan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Bilbo in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ranko Kvarantan got free with Generoso Gaxan in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Criston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Ermengol in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Gaxan saved Ireland 1921 from getting behind. Basilio Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Pinho in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Moises Ermengol made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ireland 1921's Generoso Gaxan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
