The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Gora was the one to do the kick off. When Cecilio Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triunvirato FC's protests and gave Cecilio Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute of the match Adolfo Mendez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pēteris Schmeichel skillfully saved the ball. Despite being the better team, Triunvirato FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
