Paulino Nabar came out of the goal and Dimitris Bournouxouzis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Bournouxouzis got free with Paulino Nabar in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Rybak in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Nabar saved C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE from getting behind. After a rather tough play, C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's Jonathan Fernandez got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dimitris Bournouxouzis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Paulino Nabar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Emanuel Pătran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pēteris Schmeichel. Toro F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Pătran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Toro F.C fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Toro F.C's Cyryl Rybak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
