Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Guerrero started the match with the kick off. Haroldo Penha hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cobos defense, Damian Sniegowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelian Apostol. The Cobos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelian Apostol should have stopped the shot. Expreso Suizo's Philib McCollion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Expreso Suizo from getting a goal against them. When Victoriano Galoer fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cobos's protests and gave Victoriano Galoer a yellow card for diving instead. Stelian Apostol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Gareca came free, but Stelian Apostol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobos's Stelian Apostol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gareca in the 30th minute of play. Stelian Apostol came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Expreso Suizo's Maximo Pacifico. But to his dismay, Maximo Pacifico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Maximo Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Apostol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Expreso Suizo were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Cobos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximo Pacifico took the corner. Expreso Suizo's Maximo Pacifico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stelian Apostol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Cobos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patrick Lidman hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Gareca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Expreso Suizo were awarded a corner. Maximo Pacifico went to the cornerflag to take it. When Haroldo Penha fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Expreso Suizo's protests and gave Haroldo Penha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Expreso Suizo's Haroldo Penha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Stelian Apostol was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Richard Gareca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Gareca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, Expreso Suizo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Chesus came free, but Philib McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Expreso Suizo's zone, Patrick Lidman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philib McCollion came out of the goal and Patrick Lidman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Gareca came free, but Stelian Apostol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nemesio Tirso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stelian Apostol. That made the score 0-4 in the 77 minute of play. After 82 minutes, Sixto Basualdo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobos and the Expreso Suizo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixto Basualdo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Richard Gareca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cobos's Stelian Apostol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cobos from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Expreso Suizo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cobos.
