The audience thought a goal was coming when Arcan Mansur got free with Stelian Apostol in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Evelio Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Prochnost fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Urbasa couldn't finish the play. Matías Suárez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stelian Apostol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelian Apostol was a little too slow when Evelio Urbasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 44th minute, Feliberto Ted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelian Apostol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Urbasa in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
