The supporters of ARSEFC booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eugen Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ARSEFC's Attilio Masciarelli in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sebastian Xabier was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SOUTH THUNDER through an amazing save. Attilio Masciarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Menendo's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Menendo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in ARSEFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER. Jeronimo Errapel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Inocencio Lon. 0-2. Sebastian Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Masciarelli in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, ARSEFC's Attilio Masciarelli made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute of the match ARSEFC got a corner. SOUTH THUNDER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Filipo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to ARSEFC's Hector Hug getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, ARSEFC's Harry Callahan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Valentin Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Filipo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Sebastian Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARSEFC. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Attilio Masciarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sebastian Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Errapel got free with Inocencio Lon in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Errapel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Inocencio Lon made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match SOUTH THUNDER got a corner. ARSEFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Errapel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Santiago Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOUTH THUNDER and the ARSEFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ARSEFC booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ARSEFC's Inocencio Lon got control of the ball when Jeronimo Errapel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonifacio Arias had several of the ARSEFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Inocencio Lon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eugen Bulă scored 2-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Xabier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SOUTH THUNDER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
