Los pibitos de mardel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cebollar's Rodri Prima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Botello in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Botello in the 16th minute of play forced Cebollar's goalkeeper Rodri Prima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Villagra Velis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ezequiel Nazario in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Los pibitos de mardel's Ernesto de Souza in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Txurio in the 35th minute of play forced Los pibitos de mardel's goalkeeper Villagra Velis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Nestor Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto de Souza in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodri Prima saved Cebollar from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ernesto de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodri Prima was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Los pibitos de mardel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
