With his leg Nicolás DAndrea managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Atlético San Martín's Fabricio Sauveur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabricio Sauveur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Nicolás DAndrea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elias Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Catranides, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Atlético San Martín defense, Eleuterio Chabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Honesto. The Atlético San Martín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Honesto should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Atlético San Martín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateush Berozko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Co Fuchs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Romulo Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Co Fuchs made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético San Martín's zone, Bernard Ochabski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Honesto came out of the goal and Bernard Ochabski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Atlético San Martín's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Ochabski came free, but Elias Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Catranides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Elias Honesto made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético San Martín's goalkeeper Elias Honesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Catranides. In the 76th match minute, Atlético San Martín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateush Berozko to maneuver through the defense. 0-8 became the score in the 78th minute when Co Fuchs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético San Martín's Elias Honesto got control of the ball when Romulo Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Atlético San Martín fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores del Ángel Gris were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
