In the 5th minute, one of Ayapaso FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ayapaso FC. Tim Zeigler had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Tiburcio Seber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tim Zeigler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mohamed Bale's late challenge caught a Plaza Jewell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Bale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Ayapaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Bale to maneuver through the defense. Tim Zeigler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Amato in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Freddy Amato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Jewell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute, Freddy Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Zeigler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Ayapaso FC booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Cresconio took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Zeigler. Tim Zeigler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipillo Cotan to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ayapaso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Roland was slow to take the kick. During this time Plaza Jewell's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Salvador Roland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ayapaso FC's Tim Zeigler did a great save. A hard shot 59 in the game by Freddy Amato from a close distance when the talented Tim Zeigler managed to make a qualified save. Ayapaso FC's players were relieved. With his leg Tim Zeigler managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Freddy Amato in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tim Zeigler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 79th minute, Ayapaso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Amato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ayapaso FC's zone, Tiburcio Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Zeigler came out of the goal and Tiburcio Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plaza Jewell made a substitution. Domingo Orlondo replaced Tiburcio Seber. With a little luck, Ayapaso FC's Tim Zeigler got control of the ball when Fabio Cresconio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Llope in the 86th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Felipillo Cotan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Bale scored 3-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Mei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ayapaso FC booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragnar Strömbom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Plaza Jewell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Plaza Jewell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ayapaso FC.
