Godofredo Lop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Dalmau in the 11th minute of play forced Corrientes FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Teyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Nofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Teyo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Olivar in the 17th minute of play forced Corrientes FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bernabe Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Magyares United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Cresconio couldn't finish the play. If Bernabe Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Nofre made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nunez Teyo sent off a good shot on target. When Santo Luar fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corrientes FC's protests and gave Santo Luar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Magyares United booed when Corrientes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Corrientes FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Teyo. Feliberto Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marcos Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Nofre having to interfere. A collision led to Corrientes FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Constantino Cefero hit a great ball. Godofredo Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Olivar in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corrientes FC's zone, Simon Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Lop came out of the goal and Simon Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The wind increased when Nunez Teyo made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Olivar hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Amador Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Corrientes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Pes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Godofredo Lop made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Dalmau in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Bernabe Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magyares United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Lop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Olivar in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Lop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcos Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magyares United's Marcos Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Beat in the 66th minute of play. Bernabe Cresconio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Simon Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magyares United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Corrientes FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Lop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Dalmau. Bernabe Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magyares United's Marcos Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Teyo in the 94th minute of play. The Corrientes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Magyares United's performance. The match ended with a win for Magyares United.
