The Club Atletico Union fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Club Atletico Union's Vicente Baumer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 Chivos Reales's Raimundo Raitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Elano in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Uncuţă got free with Krestian Blædel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Baumer in the 22nd minute of play forced 11 Chivos Reales's goalkeeper Raimundo Raitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Club Atletico Union's Eduard Portolés seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduard Portolés the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Union protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduard Portolés had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of 11 Chivos Reales booed when Club Atletico Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Portolés didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Playo scored 1-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Raitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliciano Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the 11 Chivos Reales defense, Esteve Loren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Raitin. The 11 Chivos Reales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Raitin should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteve Loren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Thiago Elano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Raitin, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Raimundo Raitin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Club Atletico Union getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Feliciano Playo hit a great ball. Krestian Blædel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Raitin having to interfere. A collision led to 11 Chivos Reales getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bryan Zberg hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 11 Chivos Reales's goalkeeper Raimundo Raitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
