The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leszek Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leszek Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabi Alonso in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Del Materno Vengo were awarded a corner. Jonathan Arixo went to the cornerflag to take it. Feliciano Baldovino tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Leszek Chuchro. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-4 in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Higinio Vachon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachibache Caballito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Del Materno Vengo the free kick. Higinio Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo Mangueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leszek Chuchro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xabi Alonso in the 54th minute. A collision led to Del Materno Vengo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. The corner led Del Materno Vengo's Jonathan Arixo to fire away a dangerous shot which Leszek Chuchro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leszek Chuchro.
