Alfredo Bastos started the match with the kick off. Alaaddin Uchiha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Manex's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Saverio Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Pedro Llorienzo put in a rough tackle. The referee gave River Plate a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Bastos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cieneguita's Saverio Gonchan. 0-1. Alaaddin Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Diego Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saverio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Bastos in the 25th minute of the match. Delmiro Gilesindo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Manex came free, but Alaaddin Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Manex fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Uchiha having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Manex stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Jean Finley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Cieneguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. 52 minutes into the match, Diego Manex notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha. Alaaddin Uchiha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Alaaddin Uchiha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Diego Manex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alaaddin Uchiha came out of the goal and Diego Manex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Plate made a substitution. Tytus Juroszek replaced Alfredo Bastos. Albano Silvanito hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Diego Manex's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Uchiha was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute of the match Cieneguita got a corner. River Plate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmiro Gilesindo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cieneguita's Delmiro Gilesindo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alaaddin Uchiha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, River Plate's Saverio Gonchan threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeronimo Cidro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute, one of River Plate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate. Evelio Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Diego Manex fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Uchiha having to interfere. If Diego Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Finley kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Gilesindo in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Albano Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
