An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Orlanda in the 4th minute of play forced Palma AFC's goalkeeper Vinicio Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palma AFC booed when Miami Mobsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Palma AFC's Mateo Kiliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 17th minute Victorino Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mateo Kiliz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Palma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Kiliz couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Mateo Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Palma AFC's Vicente Andrade to a score. 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Amadeo Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Palma AFC were awarded a corner. Eloy Urki went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eloy Urki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amadeo Maura quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miami Mobsters's goalkeeper Amadeo Maura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinicio Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Urbasa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Miami Mobsters's Enrique Oroitz got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Miami Mobsters's zone, Israel Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Maura came out of the goal and Israel Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Miami Mobsters's Victorino Urbasa in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palma AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Mateo Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Palma AFC's Israel Ponciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Maura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Miami Mobsters's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Kiliz came free, but Amadeo Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Maura having to interfere. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palma AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopoldo Rioja was slow to take the kick. During this time Miami Mobsters's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leopoldo Rioja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vinicio Romelio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palma AFC made a substitution. Pascual Lop replaced Eloy Urki. Gabriel Ioritz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Miami Mobsters's Amadeo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Ponciano in the 75th minute of play. Felix Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vinicio Romelio made a huge save. After having played for 79 minutes, Mateo Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Kiliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Israel Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palma AFC's Vinicio Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Urbasa in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Victorino Urbasa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palma AFC's Vinicio Romelio. Vinicio Romelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miami Mobsters's goalkeeper Amadeo Maura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Victorino Urbasa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vinicio Romelio. Mateo Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Maura having to interfere. Amadeo Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Pedro Isias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palma AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Miami Mobsters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
