After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lorenzo Martxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. TALLERES CBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Martxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobromir Malkanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Chale in the 13th minute of the match. Cosme Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Melchor Nuno sent off a good shot on target. The corner led to TALLERES CBA's Melchor Nuno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Melchor Nuno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Imperio Yabrew's Cosme Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Imperio Yabrew from getting a goal against them. Melchor Nuno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Cosme Nicholas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, TALLERES CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Isusko came free, but Dobromir Malkanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Cristos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cosme Nicholas made a huge save. After 39 minutes, Gustavo Chale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperio Yabrew and the TALLERES CBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Struyf in the 40th minute. A hard shot by Lorenzo Martxot from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Cosme Nicholas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cosme Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gerrit Struyf sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Chale got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 46 played minutes Imperio Yabrew got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Chale. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Tauro to make the kick off. Dobromir Malkanov was a little too slow when Venancio Isusko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Imperio Yabrew's Cosme Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Struyf in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Melchor Nuno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cosme Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Martxot in the 70th minute of the match. Gerrit Struyf scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Nicholas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Imperio Yabrew's Delmiro Otsando was substituted for Venancio Isusko. In the 80th minute, Per Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Imperio Yabrew's zone, Lorenzo Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Nicholas came out of the goal and Lorenzo Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Gerrit Struyf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cosme Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TALLERES CBA's Dobromir Malkanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Otsando in the 90th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Imperio Yabrew's Delmiro Otsando made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobromir Malkanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! TALLERES CBA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
