Roque Savion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Pepillo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Manuel Pepillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Savion was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. River Mas were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after El Azulgrana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Everardo Segio took the corner. Manuel Pepillo ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pepillo came free, but Roque Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Azulgrana's Roque Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Pepillo in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, River Mas's Valentin Refugio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tulio Contratas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Hegoi having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's Tulio Contratas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Hegoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danilo Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ijaz Putāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Vinicio Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Hegoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Simon Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Frederico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roque Savion firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ijaz Putāns to make the kick off. Simon Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Pepillo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ijaz Putāns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Hegoi having to interfere. If Simon Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Frederico in the 64th minute of play forced El Azulgrana's goalkeeper Roque Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Savion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Frederico went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute of the match, Ijaz Putāns tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danilo Hegoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 69th match minute, River Mas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Francis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, River Mas's Danilo Hegoi got control of the ball when Tomás Salvatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Danilo Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ijaz Putāns in the 76th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Simon Frederico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Azulgrana's Roque Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, El Azulgrana's Ijaz Putāns ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Hegoi. Danilo Hegoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Roque Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Frederico in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over El Azulgrana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than River Mas throughout the match.
