In the 3rd minute Chip Froggatt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Dominic hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Partemi FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Partemi FC got a corner. Belgrano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Mundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Chip Froggatt advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panos Paschalidis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Brais saved Belgrano from getting behind. A collision led to Partemi FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arnulfo Dominic hit a great ball. Panos Paschalidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Brais having to interfere. Belgrano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauro Boselli in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Mauro Boselli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco did a great save. When Belgrano's 潘谦朋 in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Partemi FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Mauro Boselli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Boselli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Franco hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Eleuterio Mundo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belgrano's Anastasio Brais didn't even have to move. Partemi FC's 尤朋飞 got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Paschalidis in the 54th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Anastasio Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Boselli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Herminio Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panos Paschalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anastasio Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Dominic struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Anastasio Brais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partemi FC. Panos Paschalidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, 尤朋飞 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panos Paschalidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Anastasio Brais skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Partemi FC's Ramiro Galtero got a free kick in the 85th minute. Partemi FC's Honorio Basajaun was substituted for Panos Paschalidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ado in the 87th minute of play forced Partemi FC's goalkeeper Horacio Frisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Basajaun got free with Anastasio Brais in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anastasio Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ado in the 93rd minute of play forced Partemi FC's goalkeeper Horacio Frisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Partemi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
