The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Urtungo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 16 minutes into the game, one of Club Atletico Los Alerces:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 18 minutes into the match, Chicão Carneiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Atletico Los Alerces's Bernardino Esiquio. Bernardino Esiquio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Nel came free, but Damian Ur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moncho Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Dalmacio Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Ur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Celio in the 41st minute. The Club Atletico Los Alerces players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP were winning 0-2.

Bernardino Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bernardino Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Club Atletico Los Alerces got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Formerio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chicão Carneiro got free with Bernardino Esiquio in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Vicente Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Bernard got free with Bernardino Esiquio in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bernardino Esiquio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chicão Carneiro. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Alerces's Victor Rainerio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Club Atletico Los Alerces's Bernardino Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moncho Harroyo in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Alerces's goal looked a bit too open when Moncho Harroyo came free, but Bernardino Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th match minute, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moncho Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. The Club Atletico Los Alerces fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
