The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los pibes del corner's Ulf Julin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Los pibes del corner from getting a goal against them. Ulf Julin was a little too slow when Genaro Guillerme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Genaro Guillermes short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Ulf Julin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute of the match Atlético Pehuen-Co got a corner. Los pibes del corner's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedicto Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Benedicto Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Pehuen-Co's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Urbez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Pehuen-Co's goalkeeper Gervasio Beti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertil Gadd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ulf Julin made a huge save. Los pibes del corner's attentive Jonathan Ezkerra managed to snatch the ball when Maximiliano González made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37thth minute of the game Genaro Guillerme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los pibes del corner's Ulf Julin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano González kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gaspar Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Guillerme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Mattias Albäck made the kick off in the second half. Ronald Victoire struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ulf Julin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Pehuen-Co. In the 63rd minute, Gaspar Sauveur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los pibes del corner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 72nd minute Ronald Victoire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Los pibes del corner's Gervasio Beti threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mattias Albäck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 77 minutes into the match, Los pibes del corner's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Urbez came free, but Ulf Julin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Albäck in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Beti saved Atlético Pehuen-Co from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Pehuen-Co's Benedicto Urbez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulf Julin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Los pibes del corner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Miro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Urbez in the 87th minute of play forced Los pibes del corner's goalkeeper Ulf Julin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Julin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Guillerme in the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los pibes del corner players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Pehuen-Co.
