Los Picantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Abeijon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 35 minutes of play, Los Picantes's Victoriano Millrick made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Ereinotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Los Picantes's Isac Lundqvist got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lili Oddang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esteban Ovando. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Los Picantes's Esteban Ovando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Picantes from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Los Picantes's goalkeeper Esteban Ovando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nons Crossa. When Cipriano Krawczyk came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Picantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Krawczyk couldn't finish the play.
