The referee showed Feo Loramendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Mamboreta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feo Loramendi to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Mamboreta FC's corner Raul Solustiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Crişan Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Cenan Savlet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamboreta FC the free kick. Cenan Savlet hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Urritz came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Estefan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Benedetto in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Batistuta in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Crişan Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mamboreta FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Ciclista FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raul Solustiano took the corner. With his leg Crişan Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Mamboreta FC's Gabriel-Omar Batistuta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Crişan Taffarel had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Silvestre Urritz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mamboreta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Urritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gabriel-Omar Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Mederi in the 88th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Savlet in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Urritz came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Crişan Taffarel made a huge save. The Ciclista FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mamboreta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
