The Los Irrompibles fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Los Irrompibles's Cristo Gregory looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute, Amancio Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Rogelio Herrasti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 12 in the game by Amancio Frascuelo from a close distance when the talented Fabricio Lawrence managed to make a qualified save. Los Irrompibles's players were relieved. Cleto Truylos hit a great ball. Sixto Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Gregory in the 17th minute of the match. Los Irrompibles's Fabricio Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Frascuelo in the 19th minute of play. Vladimiro Xabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fabricio Lawrence made a huge save. Zakariás Lányi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sixto Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Irrompibles. In the 27th minute, Rogelio Herrasti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sixto Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Herrasti's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Los Irrompibles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Gregory to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Irrompibles getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Roman Salvatore hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Marcos FC's goalkeeper Sixto Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Irrompibles's Fabricio Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Los Irrompibles from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Clis during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Rogelio Herrasti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Herrasti made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, San Marcos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmas Božys to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Torres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Salvatore. After 52 minutes, Ray Muggleton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Marcos FC and the Los Irrompibles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the San Marcos FC defense, Rogelio Herrasti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Torres. The San Marcos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Torres should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Marcos FC's goalkeeper Sixto Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Jonas Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Torres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cleto Truylos. After 71 played minutes San Marcos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Xabel. If Rogelio Herrasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Los Irrompibles's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Melcon came free, but Fabricio Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Herrasti in the 79th minute of play. Fabricio Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Melcon in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Marcos FC's zone, Rogelio Herrasti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Torres came out of the goal and Rogelio Herrasti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Irrompibles's Rogelio Herrasti came free and shot a quick shot against goal 89 minutes in the game, fortunately Sixto Torres had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Fabricio Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Frascuelo in the 92nd minute of play.
