Newell´s's Tzvetomir Gruykin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Criss Deprez could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Jesus Gitano however easily saved by the left post. The corner led to Tierras altas AFC's Arsenio Tercero getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Temel Lütufkâr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jesus Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidónio Candeias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Temel Lütufkâr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jesus Gitano made a huge save. Tierras altas AFC's Diego Armando Maradona was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 22nd minute Sidónio Candeias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 24th minute of the match. Newell´s's Jesus Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidónio Candeias in the 30th minute of play forced Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newell´s's Jesus Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 31st minute of play. Diego Armando Maradona succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 31st playminute. In the 35th minute, Temel Lütufkâr fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 42 played minutes Tierras altas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Orădan. Antonio Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 44th minute of play. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Armando Maradona made a kick off. Antonio Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tzvetomir Gruykin's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Sidónio Candeias could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Antonio Natal however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newell´s's goalkeeper Jesus Gitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tzvetomir Gruykin's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Newell´s's Thor Rosin got a free kick in the 66th minute. Newell´s's Pepito Tarnovskiy was substituted for Rogelio Larralde. Newell´s's Duro Pene was substituted for Andres Chorache. Thor Rosin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 72nd minute of play forced Newell´s's goalkeeper Jesus Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Temel Lütufkâr struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jesus Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierras altas AFC. Temel Lütufkâr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Armando Maradona in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Gitano saved Newell´s from getting behind. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Tierras altas AFC from getting a goal against them. Federico Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes, Tierras altas AFC's 毛真松 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesus Gitano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tierras altas AFC reached it. When Newell´s's Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tierras altas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th match minute, Tierras altas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Armando Maradona to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Tzvetomir Gruykin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Diego Armando Maradona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tierras altas AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Newell´s for a fine match.
