In the 2nd minute, Santo Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, one of Las 3R Club De Fútbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Las 3R Club De Fútbol. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when LA MAQUINA F.C's Loco Borja looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Islas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Carlos Alberto Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sérgio Berti kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Enzo Scifo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Berti hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Josue Montemayor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Aristides Clis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Turi in the 39th minute of play forced Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Islas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Barros's late challenge caught a LA MAQUINA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Las 3R Club De Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Savion to maneuver through the defense. Luís Islas came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Carlos Alberto Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Scifo to make the kick off. Enzo Scifo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. LA MAQUINA F.C's Bohuslav Plachetka was substituted for Santo Colas. After 62 minutes of play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Islas was left in no man's land by his defense there! LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Higinio Romero replaced Isidoro Playo. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Luís Islas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Las 3R Club De Fútbol from getting a goal against them. Loco Borja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Islas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes in the game, Loco Borja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luís Islas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Las 3R Club De Fútbol's zone, Loco Borja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Islas came out of the goal and Loco Borja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loco Borja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Islas having to interfere. In the 75th minute, one of Las 3R Club De Fútbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Las 3R Club De Fútbol. With 79 minutes on the clock, Joel Min commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Enzo Scifo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Higinio Porfiro. LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonel Osmundo's late challenge caught a LA MAQUINA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Carlos Alberto Pernambucano scored to the left of an out of position Luís Islas, making the score, 1-9. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Loco Borja got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 89th minute of play forced Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Islas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Loco Borja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-10. Luís Islas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loco Borja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luís Islas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LA MAQUINA F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
