Arturo Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sergio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Tulio having to interfere. After 13 minutes Deportivo Capitalista's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres Palban who took care of the corner kick. In the 19th minute Arnoldo Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Capitalista booed when las locas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, las locas's Arturo Tulio got control of the ball when Arnoldo Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. las locas's Jimeno Lluciano got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. las locas's Arturo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Fix in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Deportivo Capitalista got a corner. las locas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrique Portugal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sergio Loi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Andreas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Mitxaut in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, las locas's Arturo Tulio got control of the ball when Arnoldo Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Tulio having to interfere. Fidel Laurgain hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Sergio Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Ireno during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Capitalista booed when las locas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Fix to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Arturo Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Ranolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Fix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Tulio was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Jimeno Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Tulio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Fix's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Arturo Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Fix in the 69th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Isidoro Dantel put in a rough tackle. A collision led to las locas getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Isidoro Dantel hit a great ball. Deportivo Capitalista's Henrique Portugal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, las locas's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Schor came free, but Arturo Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Fix in the 90th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Capitalista had played much better football throughout.
