Gaby Milito's Pablo Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Fix in the 8th minute of play. Arnoldo Fix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Caballero having to interfere. Norberto Ranolfo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Andreas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Ciano in the 20th minute of play. Roque Ciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Hägglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Ciano ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the C.A. Gaby Milito defense, Arnoldo Fix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Caballero. The C.A. Gaby Milito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Caballero should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Roque Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Roque Ciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Hägglund. Deportivo Capitalista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Ciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 39th minute, Ivan Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Capitalista's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Roque Ciano scored to the left of an out of position Andreas Hägglund, making the score, 2-1. C.A. Gaby Milito's Roque Ciano got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

With a little luck, C.A. Gaby Milito's Pablo Caballero got control of the ball when Arnoldo Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeronimo Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pablo Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Jakobe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Roque Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A. Gaby Milito's Edelmiro Loi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celedonio Monico, made in the 61st minute of the game. Arnoldo Fix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Pablo Caballero made a huge save. Roque Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Arnoldo Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Capitalista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Capitalista getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ignacio Schor hit a great ball. If Roque Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Capitalista's Andreas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Ciano in the 77th minute of play. Celedonio Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Deportivo Capitalista got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Loi. In the 85th match minute, C.A. Gaby Milito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Tingelholm to maneuver through the defense. When Deportivo Capitalista's Arnoldo Fix in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Gaby Milito's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Gaby Milito's zone, Arnoldo Fix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Caballero came out of the goal and Arnoldo Fix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Örjan Tingelholm was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Deportivo Capitalista booed when C.A. Gaby Milito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Tingelholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Gaby Milito had won after a very even match.
