In the 9th match minute, Boedo Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Stabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Dalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Dalman came free, but Samuel Stabbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Geronimo Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Stabbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diablos Rojos's Samuel Stabbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Javiar in the 30th minute of play. Dan Dalman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Stabbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Dan Dalman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Stabbe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Dan Dalman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boedo Crows fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Samuel Stabbe came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Boedo Crows's Dan Dalman. But to his dismay, Dan Dalman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tarchilă in the 53rd minute of play forced Boedo Crows's goalkeeper Jürgen Reil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Boedo Crows getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Florencio Suarez hit a great ball. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when Boedo Crows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Dan Dalman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Stabbe. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Dalman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A collision led to Boedo Crows getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aron Mårtensson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Samuel Stabbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Dan Dalman took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Samuel Stabbe to make any attempt to save it. Samuel Stabbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Argoitz in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Boedo Crows's Dan Dalman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Stabbe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Dalman came free, but Samuel Stabbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
