El fortinero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 7 played minutes El fortinero got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Errapel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Florinio got free with Ivan Cedro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, El fortinero's Ivan Cedro got control of the ball when Lorenzo Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Cedro was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Vicente Igon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Igon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Ivan Cedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Igon in the 27th minute of play. The El fortinero fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when El fortinero's Nicanor Micael looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Igon in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Cedro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nicanor Micael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villarreal FC's Vladimiro Sedeni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Villarreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Sol came free, but Vladimiro Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Lorenzo Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal and Lorenzo Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Vicente Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Lorenzo Florinio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Cedro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Vicente Igon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ivan Cedro made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Lorenzo Florinio might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Cedro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Florinio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 53 minutes, Vicente Igon made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. El fortinero's Ivan Cedro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Sol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Sedeni made a huge save. Vicente Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Cedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, El fortinero's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Igon came free, but Ivan Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Cedro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from François Rouvrais went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Florinio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Cedro was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Villarreal FC's Vicente Igon. But to his dismay, Vicente Igon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Eulalio Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vladimiro Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Lorenzo Florinio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El fortinero's Ivan Cedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Cedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Rouvrais in the 81st minute of play. Ivan Cedro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Villarreal FC's Vicente Igon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 90 minutes into the match, El fortinero's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Igon came free, but Ivan Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Florinio notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of El fortinero's Ivan Cedro. Ivan Cedro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Igon in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Cedro saved El fortinero from getting behind. El fortinero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
