The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeus Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Cvitanich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the JS 22 defense, Danilo Tino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Elixio. The JS 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Elixio should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Celestino Tuste put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the game, one of Central Norte de Salta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Central Norte de Salta:s Amadeus Carrizo showed great skill when he stopped Barnaba Kilarski:s penalty. Barnaba Kilarski scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeus Carrizo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeus Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darío Cvitanich in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Central Norte de Salta booed when JS 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Cvitanich didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Cilio came free, but Amadeus Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Marciano Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. JS 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeus Carrizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeus Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Tepedino in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Cilio came free, but Amadeus Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Tino to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Cidro in the 52nd minute of play forced JS 22's goalkeeper Jairo Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes JS 22 got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Fernandes. After a defensive mix-up in JS 22's zone, Danilo Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Elixio came out of the goal and Danilo Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeus Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jairo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Tino in the 59th minute of play. Amadeus Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Cvitanich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's goalkeeper Amadeus Carrizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darío Cvitanich. A collision led to JS 22 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tom Walton hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Mark in the 72nd minute of play forced JS 22's goalkeeper Jairo Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeus Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Darío Cvitanich sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Cilio got free with Amadeus Carrizo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venancio Cidro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jairo Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Central Norte de Salta. Central Norte de Salta made a substitution. Valentin Montxo replaced Danilo Tino. Central Norte de Salta's Javier Ostadar was substituted for Venancio Cidro. Amadeus Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Madaleno in the 85th minute of the match. Javier Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jairo Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Central Norte de Salta's Amadeus Carrizo got control of the ball when Darío Cvitanich tried to sneak it across the goal line. The JS 22 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Central Norte de Salta from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
