Ertaç Bilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Flavio Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Hitzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ertaç Bilek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Milito's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, Diego Milito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ertaç Bilek. The goal made the score 1-0. Joel Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Diego Militos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Ertaç Bilek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Maiorga came free, but Ertaç Bilek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ertaç Bilek came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito. But to his dismay, Diego Milito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de La Plata's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 53rd minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Ertaç Bilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertaç Bilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The tension between the Estudiantes de La Plata and the Deportivo Diamante U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Diego Milito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ertaç Bilek. Estudiantes de La Plata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Milito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Diego Milito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ertaç Bilek was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ertaç Bilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Milito in the 97th minute of play. Deportivo Diamante U18 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
