The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Manny helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave ALEMCA a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arturo Herauso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ánimas's Apolo Pirmin. 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Arturo Herauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Apolo Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Apolo Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Herauso scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Pirmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Maximo Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Nofre in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Pirmin saved Ánimas from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Maximo Mantzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ánimas's Apolo Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Menendo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ciro Manny made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elvio Burni immediately put the ball in play. 30 minutes into the match, Maximo Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Pirmin. Ánimas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 34 played minutes Ánimas got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Burni. 35 minutes into the game, Patricio Guillerme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Apolo Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteban Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 44th minute, Arturo Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximo Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Fernandez to make the kick off. Jaime Ferrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Apolo Pirmin made a huge save. Isidoro Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Maximo Mantzio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apolo Pirmin. The goal made the score 0-6. 62 minutes into the match, Ánimas's goalkeeper Apolo Pirmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Mantzio. Arturo Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Apolo Pirmin made a huge save. Arturo Herauso struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Apolo Pirmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALEMCA. With a little luck, Ánimas's Apolo Pirmin got control of the ball when Arturo Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Ánimas got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Elorri. Nicasio Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Arturo Herauso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Apolo Pirmin, passed just outside the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Ánimas's goalkeeper Apolo Pirmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Ferrer. 75 minutes into the match, Arturo Herauso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Pirmin, 0-7. Maximo Mantzio in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Apolo Pirmin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st minute, Arturo Herauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALEMCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Mantzio got free with Apolo Pirmin in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apolo Pirmin was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Arturo Herauso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Herauso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ALEMCA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
