Borys Konopka came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by CLATHU's Americo Rozarius. But to his dismay, Americo Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, CLATHU's Borys Konopka threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrés Calamaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacobo Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Niguel in the 11th minute of play. Alfonso Niguel scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Peter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alfredo Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Munro por siempre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Raymond couldn't finish the play. The corner led Munro por siempre's Emilio Gartxot to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Peter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Costante Ocomardia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Niguel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes, CLATHU's Lisandro Quaresma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Borys Konopka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CLATHU reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Raymond in the 60th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Niguel came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Peter could save by the left post. Jacobo Peter was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Alfonso Niguel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfonso Niguel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Lisandro Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Borys Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Raymond came free, but Jacobo Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andrés Calamaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Konopka was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Munro por siempre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
