Israel Perfecto started the match with the kick off. Leopardi's Gerardo Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Canor in the 2nd minute of play. Feliciano Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Israel Perfecto was slow to take the kick. During this time Leopardi's players had a chance to rest. Antoni Borkowski let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 5th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. 8 minutes into the match, Leopardi's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Seber came free, but Gerardo Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Israel Perfecto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Seber in the 56th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Teodosio James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Canor got free with Gerardo Celipe in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Seber in the 79th minute of the match. The corner ended in Bruno Cambiasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leopardi's Gerardo Celipe did a great save. Bruno Cambiasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gerardo Celipe made a huge save. In the 86th minute Bruno Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Eulalio Blai, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Santos de Buenos Aires FC. Gerardo Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Leopardi getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ged Laverick hit a great ball. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when Leopardi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannis Van Hove didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Gerardo Celipe threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Seber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Lluques to maneuver through the defense. Israel Perfecto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 98 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Feliciano Ayala right hand side. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
