Kostas Michas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erling Braut Haaland went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Erling Braut Haaland notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of West Ham United's Kostas Michas. Kostas Michas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Inko came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Justino Orlandus could save by the left post. Justino Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Adolfo Inko sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, West Ham United's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Braut Haaland came free, but Kostas Michas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Isaac Raebert in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atalanta B. Calcio's Facundo Mura. Kostas Michas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Braut Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Ludomir Okropny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erling Braut Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Michas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Braut Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. West Ham United's Kostas Michas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Braut Haaland in the 38th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Braut Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Atalanta B. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Berdoi during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atalanta B. Calcio booed when West Ham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atalanta B. Calcio's Eustaquio Lluterio got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Erling Braut Haaland came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Atalanta B. Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Braut Haaland couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, West Ham United's Kostas Michas got control of the ball when Erling Braut Haaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Atalanta B. Calcio getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Vladimiro Mendiko hit a great ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Ham United's goalkeeper Kostas Michas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Isaac Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Ham United's protests and gave Isaac Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to West Ham United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Isaac Raebert hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Erling Braut Haaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Michas was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Jairo Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kostas Michas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Braut Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Braut Haaland got free with Kostas Michas in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The West Ham United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atalanta B. Calcio's performance. The match ended with a win for Atalanta B. Calcio.
