Constantino Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Inocente in the 12th minute of the match. Constantino Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Ercole Santarelli notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel. The audience was convinced that Braulio Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Dantel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Franco in the 43rd minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salchichas Del Sur were furious when Esteve Micael was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Despite being the better team, Valencia Santa Fe failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
